Cuvee Cuvee

Fri, 14 Nov 2008 05:10:05 -0800
I picked the Ortman Family Vineyards 2006 Cuvee Eddy as the wine for the evening. I purchased this bottle from Domaine547. It now costs $16.99, originally $21.99, though I can’t remember what I paid for it. I bought it in one of my searches for interesting new wines that Jill helped me with. An Easy Pick

As it turns out, Fermento of Twisted Oak has his own label too! That made it easy for me to choose to stop by since I figured I love Twisted Oak, I’d love Newsome-Harlow. Newsome-Harlow currently produces 750 cases, but intends to up their production to 2700 next year. The tasting room is modern and cute, and resides on Main Street in Murphys. One of the nice parts about Murphys’ wineries is that many of them have space on Main Street, so you can just wander around downtown, stop into a tasti
